About Athletic Golf Swing

Athletic Golf Swing is in the fundamentals business. We believe that "simple, portable, and affordable" outperform "over-engineered, bulky, and expensive" every time. We set out to design products that are easy to use, easy to learn from, and that will provide lasting results you can build on.

What makes an athletic golfer? Solid fundamentals. As you become centered in these proven fundamentals, your game will reach new heights. You don't need to be a super athlete or have amazing hand-eye coordination to excel with these principles; all you need is the desire to become a better player.

No building will last and thrive without a solid foundation, yet millions of golfers ignore this essential building block that professional tour players hone on a daily basis. The best swing is the one with the fewest moving parts and that is powerful and repeatable.

Simple Movement

At its core, the golf swing is a very simple movement. Unfortunately, many teaching methods overcomplicate the golf swing and get in the way of you using your instinctive athletic ability. Athletic Golf Swing strives to provide you with the necessary information to make simple, repeatable, athletic golf swings. Every product we make is designed to help you develop the fundamentals necessary to making strong, simple, repeatable swings that generate power and consistency.

Let's face some hard facts: golf equipment – ball and club technology in particular – have all but reached their limits. Club sizes and C.O.R ratings (Coefficient of Restitution) have reached their maximum allowable limits by both the USGA and R&A. Golf ball performance technology experienced significant leaps in the early part of the decade, but it has also run up against the maximum allowable limits by the governing bodies.

To take full advantage of modern golf ball technology, it helps to have a clubhead swing speed in excess of 100 MPH. Athletic Golf Swing was established by dedicated golfers to provide other golfers with the necessary foundation to make a simple, solid, repeatable golf swing.

Distance and Accuracy

If you choose to buy the latest driver in hopes that you'll pick up some additional distance, that's completely up to you. Generally speaking, distance is increased by increasing your clubhead speed and making solid contact with the golf ball. On average, for every 1 MPH of increased clubhead speed, you'll hit the ball another 2.5 yards. For every quarter inch away from the sweet spot, you'll lose about 5 percent of distance. Clubhead speed and solid ball contact generate distance and accuracy.

Do you need to practice for hours on end to hone a strong, repeatable swing? Remember, practice does not make perfect; perfect practice makes perfect. You're much better off practicing efficiently and effectively using the correct fundamentals than simply hitting balls. In fact, too much practice, incorrect practice, and inefficient practice can actually hurt your game, and practicing an incorrect swing can create inconsistencies in your game. Practice like the pros, efficiently and effectively, and work on the fundamentals. You will see results!

Athletic Golf Swing understands that players come to us from a wide range of playing levels, from beginning golfer to tour professional. They each have unique challenges. How can a product that is used by a tour professional also benefit players of lesser skills? Simplicity and fundamentals! Since all of our training products are designed to help you improve proven key fundamentals, it doesn't matter if you are a beginner, high HDCP player, low HDCP, scratch or tour player. These products will help you become a better player by sharpening your fundamentals.
